Beep! Beep! Back Up the Truck
Beep! Beep! Back up the Truck is an Dutch record label based in Utrecht, Utrecht, Netherlands. The Label was founded in spring 2008 and is ran by all engaged artists. This way the label created a large network giving the Dutch independent music scene a important impulse. The labels main focus lays on the promotion and distribution of independent artists. Benefiting from the opportunities the digital media is offering, Beep! Beep! and her artists are creating an accessible community which unites artist and audience. Beep! Beep! uses the Creative Commons licence so that all of its releases can be fully streamed and downloaded for free on-line. Beep! Beep! is Holland's first record label working with a free on-line catalogue. Still the main focus lies in releasing and promoting ‘hard copy’ albums wrapped up in beautiful artwork.
In its home town Utrecht, “Beep! Beep! Back-up the Truck” is also well known for their showcases named “Vette Analoge [...]!” where they host performances of must-see upcoming national and international artists.
