BBMpins.net is an on-line social network service similar to facebook. It is aimed at BlackBerry Messenger users that was founded in 2011 by Goldenback PTY Ltd. The website has approximately 150 000 members and has an Alexa rank of 258,473. The website is currently on version 2.0. New features in version 2 included better spam filters, better user filters and a "new cleaner look". BBMpins has an estimated 3,886,128 visitors per year.
Features
The website allows users to create a profile page with a profile photo and basic info such as a username, age, [...] and country. Users can then add their BBM pin. Once users become "friends" on the website, they are able to see each other's BBM pins. Other features include on site messaging, browsing and searching of users by country, age and gender, and walls similar to facebook
