Baylen Levine

Baylen Levine (born October 30, 2000) is an American YouTuber and internet personality known for his prank and vlog content on YouTube and TikTok. His videos were later adapted into a streaming series for Tubi.

Early life

Levine is from Atlanta, Georgia. He began posting videos on his YouTube channel while he was still in high school. In a video posted in 2018, Levine said he was expelled from his school after the school disliked the content he was posting online.

Before his content career, Levine received local media coverage in his hometown of Woodstock, Georgia after organizing fundraising for a fellow student who had been hit by a vehicle.

Career

Levine launched his YouTube channel in 2017 and built an audience with his prank videos and vlogs. He was well-known for his anti-vaping message and his "Frick Vape" brand. One of his viral videos in which he correctly identified every Lil Yachty song in the first few seconds, led to a friendship with Yachty, who makes appearances in several of his YouTube videos. He's been cited as an influential figure for other internet celebrities.

In 2021, Levine scheduled a 9-stop tour series across the United States, which ultimately was cancelled due to COVID-19 issues. Instead, Levine spoke at a youth pro-sobriety summit in Rochester, New York speaking to youth attendees AbOUT staying away from drugs and alcohol. Shortly after, Levine collaborated with fellow YouTube star Sadie Crowell, sparking dating rumors.

In January 2023, Levine became the subject of a viral false rumor about his death online. Later that year, Levine headlined a 25-stop tour across the United States, including stops in Detroit.

Along with Rich Paul and others involved in online businesses, Levine was a speaker at a UTA Creator Summit in Atlanta, an event focused on digital creators and influencers. Levine collaborated with actor Zachary Gordon after fans compared Levine's appearance to Gordon's previous character of Rodrick Heffley from the Diary of a Wimpy Kid films. NBC News referenced Levine's love for the Shrek movie series while covering the announcement of Shrek 5.
