Madeline Pendleton
Madeline Pendleton Hansen (born 17 August 1986) is an American fashion designer, TikTok influencer, and author. They are the founder of Tunnel Vision, a small clothing business run out of Los Angeles, California. They were the partner of the late clothing designer and musician Drew Bernstein.
Biography
Pendleton grew up in Fresno, California.
Pendleton co-founded Tunnel Vision clothing with a friend in 2014. They are known for splitting the company's earnings equally between all employees, with each employee including themselves taking home the same wage. Madeline self-describes her business structure as running on a "socialist model." One of Pendleton's goals for the company is ensuring every employee owns a home.
Pendleton's first book, I Survived Capitalism and All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt: Everything I Wish I Never Had To Learn AbOUT Money, was released 16 January 2024. It has been described as a mix of autobiographical and personal finance material, detailing Pendleton's life and how they navigated homelessness, debt, and living on a low income, sharing a series of "capitalism survival skills" that aided their survival.
