Atif Jamil Pagaan, Pakistan

Atif Jamil Pagaan is a human rights and peace activist working for the empowerment of the women, children, workers and religious minorities. He focuses the issues of the country's most vulnerable sections. The religious minorities especially Christians are suffering badly in Pakistan because of the draconian discriminatory laws like Blasphemy Law. Atif Jamil Pagaan focuses the integration of the development of the poorest of the poor in the development process. The human rights issues of the workers, Christian community, women and children are the priority of his work. He has coninued his work from the platform of Harmony Foundation for the mobilization of the vulnerable people. Atif Jamil Pagaan also heads the Pakistan Minorities Democratic Movement for the political participation of the religious minorities especially Christians in the main stream development process of the country.

Pakistan Minorities Democratic Movement and Harmony Foundation has membership and networking in 67 districts of Pakistan.
