Ashish Kapoor

Ashish Kapoor is an Indian actor working in The INDIAN Television Industry. He gained fame with Sony TV's serial Dekha Ek Khwab playing the role of Yuvraj UdayVeer Singh. He is currently seen in Sony TV's show Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage opposite Rishika Mihani.

Early life and education

Ashish is a trained interior designer and says that he came into acting by mere coincidence.

Personal life

Ashish had a relationship with his Dekha Ek Khwab co-star Priyal Gor whom he met on the sets of Dekha Ek Khwaab. The couple have recently announced of their breakup. His favourite actors are Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. He said in an interview that he is a very romantic person and for him every day is a Valentine's Day as long as you are with your loved one.

Break up with co-star

Ashish and Priyal Gor had been dating during the making of the show Dekha Ek Khwab but as the show came to an end the couple announced their break up. Many called it a publicity gimmick to gain TRPs for Dekha Ek Khwaab or to bring Ashish's new show Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage into the limelight.

Television

Ashish started his acting career in 2010. He played small roles in many Indian serials like Bandini, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai etc. He also played an undercover agent in UTV Bindass's reality show Emotional Atyachar in which a person who doubts his/her boyfriend's/girlfriend's loyalty, can ask for a loyalty test on him / her. He came into limelight in 2011 with the lead role of Prince Uday Veer in Dekha Ek Khwab.

UdayVeer is a complex character with gray shades who eventually falls in love with Moniya/Princess Manayata played by Priyal Gor. Ashish is currently doing Sony TV's serial Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage where he plays one of the main protagonist called Sahil who believes in Love Marriage.
