Arisem

Arisem is a publisher of text analytics software. The company designs, develops and distributes content analytics solutions for the media, healthcare, DeFence, security and finance sectors. Specialising in the semantic analysis and automated organisation of text-based information, Arisem enables organisations to exploit and extract knowledge from unstructured data as a way to boost productivity and competitive performance. Arisem products optimise the way information is processed by content management applications: electronic document management, enterprise content management, web content management, enterprise site search engines, business intelligence and decision support, informational and competitive intelligence.

History

Established in 1996, Arisem is one of the pioneers of semantic search engines. On 1 March 2002 the company was acquired by angel investor Jean-Claude Carles. In March 2004 it was acquired by the Thales Group and is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Thales Communications & Security SA, which is 99.99% owned by Thales SA. This acquisition has enabled Arisem to strengthen its market position as well as expand its collaboration on government projects in the areas of information management and intelligence.

Products

Arisem products, or software components, are HTTP application programming interfaces that expand and increase the performance of third-party search engines, portals, electronic content management, business intelligence and collaborative solutions. These products are primarily intended for software developers and integrators. Arisem software components let users:
