Apptimize is a mobile application optimization company that offers A/B testing, feature toggling, phased rollout, and analytics.
History
Apptimize was founded by Nancy Hua and Jeremy Orlow in 2013. The company launched its code-based A/B testing solution in July 2013 and graduated from Y Combinator in August 2013.
In January 2014, Apptimize announced a seed funding round of $2.1M led by Merus Capital, Google Ventures, Oliver Jung, and Tom Moss.
Products
Apptimize allows app developers to deploy multiple versions of a mobile app while maintaining a single app listing in the App Store or Google Play. The developer can programmatically control which version of the app each user sees and enable new features or user flows.
The company also provides a what-you-see-is-what-you-get editor called Visual Apptimizer.
