Andrew White (ice hockey)

Andrew James White (born June 30, 1983) is an Australian ice hockey player currently playing for the Sydney Ice Dogs in the Australian Ice Hockey League.

Playing career

Ehite first played for the Sydney Ice Dogs (formally known as the West Sydney Ice Dogs) of the Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) in 2003. In 2007 during his fifth season with the Ice Dogs White scored a personal best of 22 points and recorded 147 penalty minutes. White is currently in his ninth season with the Ice Dogs and is playing in the 2011 AIHL season.

White was first called up to represent Australia in 2003 where he joined the national senior team to compete at the 2003 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships Division II Group A tournament. In 2005 White tied for the most assists during the 2005 IIHF World Championship Division II Group A tournament, with six. In 2011 White represented Australia for the eighth time at the World Ice Hockey Championships. He finished as the most penalised player of the Division II Group A tournament, with 31 penalties in minutes.

Personal life

Andrew James White was born on June 30, 1983 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He first started playing ice hockey at the age of four.
