All west/select sires

In 1941, just two years after the first cattle artificial insemination organization was established in the U.S., a group of Skagit County, WA dairymen started an A.I. cooperative. Their mission then, remains the same today, “To provide services at a reasonable fee from semen obtained from superior sires and return profit to the members in the form of patronage.”

From these humble beginnings, the West’s most successful and profitable A.I. cooperative was founded. All West/Select Sires remains the leader in the A.I. industry in the West. With headquarters still in Skagit County and a state of the art facility in Turlock, CA the cooperative markets over 1.2 million units of highly fertile semen annually.

All West joined the [Select Sires] Federation in 1975 and continues to operate in the truest form of a member-owned cooperative, returning large patronage refunds to members each year. In recent years, the cooperative declared a record patronage payout of 1.6 million dollars on annual business, which represents a 12.2% return to members on their semen purchases. The cooperative has prospered over the years by providing unequaled reliable service to it’s owner-members.
