AirTags
AirTags is a tracking device created by Apple Inc. in 2019 or 2020, able to act as a key finder. It was accidentally confirmed in April 2020, as a feature in an official Apple product support video showing it supported in the Find My iPhone user interface. The product was first reported to be under development in April 2019, and in January 2020 an analyst said they were expected to be released in Q1 2020. Industry watcher Redmond Pie reported in February, 2020 that Asahi Electronics was prepared to begin supplying Apple with tens of millions of ultra-wideband (UWB) parts for the AirTags in the second and third quarters of 2020. Some iOS devices support UWB and are said to be compatible with AirTags. On April 2, 2020, it was then confirmed by Appleosophy that AirTags were a recognised product in an Apple Support video posted to YouTube.
