Adfusion
Adfusion is an article-based advertising platform that is a registered trademark of ARAnet, Inc. It utilizes a two-click advertising model to drive qualified consumers to its clients’ Web sites.
Adfusion creates articles that highlight its clients’ products and services. The service distributes the articles on a wide range of media and special-interest content sites, and drives interested and motivated readers back to its clients’ landing pages.
In March 2009, Opinion Research Corporation and Adfusion conducted a survey that found that American consumers say articles that include brand information is the type of online advertising they're most likely to read and act upon. The survey compared consumer opinions on banner ads, pop-up ads, email offers, articles that include brand information and sponsored search engine links. Article-based ads were favored by 51 percent of consumers. Key demographic groups, including the young and affluent, were more likely than the general population to prefer article-based advertising.
In February 2009, Adfusion was named to the Upshot50 list of leading marketing technology providers. Companies selected for the list were recognized for “reshaping the world of marketing” and “for offering the most innovative, powerful and useful marketing tools and technologies.”
