ABES Institute of Technology
ABES Institute of Technology or ABESIT as it is popularly known, is an engineering college located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. The college is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. ABESIT is situated on 19th km milestone, on National Highway 24, Ghaziabad. The college was founded in 2007 by Ved Foundation, and runs B.Tech. courses in various engineering & technology streams.
ABESIT or ABESEC
People often confuse ABES Institute of Technology with ABES Engineering College. The fact is, these are two different entities. ABESIT is run by VED Foundation, while ABESEC is run by Society for Educational Excellence. The only similarity is that The Two colleges are situated adjacent to each other, in Vijay Nagar area of Ghaziabad.
Courses
ABESIT is approved by AICTE, New Delhi & affiliated to UPTU, Lucknow. The college offers B.Tech. courses in six disciplines of engineering, vis., Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Information Technology (IT), and Civil Engineering (CE).
Facilities
The institute campus is spread over an area 17 acres. It has:
- Over 650 computers networked through Gigabit LAN,
- Internet link of 20Mbps provided through optical fiber cable,
- A fully computerized central library with over 41,500 books,
- Fully air-conditioned class-rooms & computer labs.
