9lives (band)

9Lives is an American rock/hip-hop band from Los Angeles, California. The band consists of Deuce (lead vocals)/(producer), Truth (vocals), Yuma (computers)/(gutiars), Ms.Chloe (keyboards)/(backup vocals), Jimmy Lowery (bass)/(backup vocals)The Cloaked Man (drums). Their sound is a mixture of rock and hip-hop. Their debut album is set to be released sometime 2010 . Recently they recorded songs with Jeffree Star and Brokencyde.

History

In early 2007 Deuce and Truth teamed up on the song 'Blood On My Hands'. Formed later that year as a side project while Hollywood Undead was in between labels. Deuce and Truth started recording more. In late 2009 Deuce left Hollywood Undead due to MusicAL diffrences and decided to make 9Lives his main band. Early 2010, 9Lives was announced to be a six-piece band and later signed to a new label that was formed under Interscope Records.

In early 2010, The Truth came out of the closet and declared himself a homosexual.
