2009 Henlopen Conference football season

The 2009 season of the Henlopen Conference sees the schools trying to continue their winning ways after one of the most successful in the conference's history. In 2008, both Delaware high school state football champions came from the Henlopen Conference with Caesar Rodney winning the Division 1 title and Milford winning the Division 2 title. All four teams in the state championship games came from the Henlopen Conference with Sussex Central and Laurel also advancing through the playoffs, as the Henlopen Conference sent 5 teams total to the state championship tournament.
