2007 Nashville Sounds season

The Nashville Sounds' 2007 season was the franchise's thirtieth year of play. The team finished the regular season with a record of 89 wins and 55 losses. They finished first in their division, clinching the American North Division title. In post-season play, the team had one win and three losses; they were eliminated in the the American Conference series.

Regular season

On June 25, Manny Parra pitched the club's second perfect game, only the third nine-inning perfect game in PCL history, against the Round Rock Express. The team finished the season eleven games ahead of the second-place team, clinching the division title and giving them a shot at the conference title.

American Conference finals

The American North Division champion Sounds met the American South Division champion New Orleans Zephyrs in the best-of-five American Conference finals. The Sounds lost the first two games in New Orleans, but rallied back to win game three in Nashville. However, the Sounds fell to the Zephyrs in game four—a six-run shutout that ended their season.

Awards and honors

R. A. Dickey was named the league's Pitcher of the Year. Frank Kremblas was named Manager of the Year. Pitcher Steve Bray and catcher Vinny Rottino were named to the league's mid-season All-Star team. Dickey, along with fellow pitcher Adam Pettyjohn were named to the post-season squad. Jeff Paxon was named Trainer of the Year.

Riveria led all catchers in the league with his .997 fielding percentage. Dickey's 13 wins were the most in the league. He also tied with another pitcher for the most complete games (3).
