The Student's Cooperative Association (SCA) consists of three student-run cooperative houses in Eugene, Oregon. The three houses are called Lorax Manner, The Campbell Club, and The Janet Smith House. Located across the street from the University of Oregon on Alder St., the cooperatives provide an alternative to dormitory living and off-campus housing. As members of the SCA, the residents are entirely and equally responsible for the politics, maintenance, and direction of the association. This includes consensus on allocating funds, review of prospective new members, and the distribution of house chores and responsibilities among all residents.
Each of the three houses meets weekly for discussion of pressing decisions, upcoming events, and the review of the week's jobs. The houses also serve dinner 6 nights a week, and a constant supply of food, consisting mainly of vegetarian and vegan options is included as part of the cost of membership. All decisions in the houses are based upon the complete consensus model.
The Wotch: Cheer! is an official spin-off of the webcomic The Wotch by a Wotch fan named Tselsebar. It follows the adventures of the Tandy Gardens High cheerleaders Alexandra King, Cher Lita Harper, Samantha Smith, and Joanna Colleen Star, who unbeknownst to themselves were football jocks/bullies until they ran afoul of the personified feminist side of a powerful magic user. The group (known to most Wotchers as "The Cheer! Squad") has decided that it's their mission to get everyone to actually come to the school's sporting events and raise school spirit. The comic is mostly in canon with The Wotch, but what is and what isn't is decided by Anne Onymous.
Sumiregusa is a fake bootleg album introduced to the Internet around November of 2005, probably as a way to make a buck from people that don't know any better. Sumiregusa is not a released album.
Fantasy Bedtime Hour is a San Francisco based cable access show dedicated to the reading and understanding of Stephen R. Donaldson's classic fantasy novel, Lord Foul's Bane. The show's hosts, Heatherly and Julie (who appear to be [...] in bed each episode) are described as "two girls ill-equipped to handle fantasy novel concepts". The show tackles the book at a rate of about 4 pages per episode complete with dramatic reenactments. In each episode, the girls have an "Expert in Lord Foul's Bane" appear in bed with them to help them understand the meaning of the four pages they have read.
