Watercliffe Meadow Community Primary School is a primary school in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. It is notable for changing its name from a "school" to "A place of learning" in January 2009, with staff at Watercliffe Meadow claiming that this was because, "the word school may have negative connotations for pupils and parents." The change was attacked for being too politically correct.
Skydiggers/Cash Brothers is a CD by the Canadian bands Skydiggers and The Cash Brothers, released in 2006.
The CD evolved from a series of collaborative shows played by the two bands in the fall and winter of 2005 and 2006. The bands have had a long and extensive shared history — Peter Cash is a former member of Skydiggers, and Andrew Cash was a frequent collaborator with the band in their early years of performing.
The Harvard Invitational Shoryuhai Intercollegiate Kendo Tournament, or for short, is the oldest intercollegiate kendo tournament in North America. Now in its 28th year, the Shoryuhai is hosted annually by the Harvard Radcliffe Kendo Club each spring. The 2026 tournament held March 21 and 22, 2026. Teams come from all over North America and Europe, including teams from Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Germany. The tournament is held in the Harvard University Malkin Athletic Center basketball court. The fundamental purpose of the Shoryuhai is to promote kendo at the collegiate level.
Sha's Feckel is a Swiss jazz-rock band led by saxophonist and composer Stefan Haslebacher, known professionally as Sha, based in Bern, Switzerland. The band blends jazz improvisation, progressive rock, and math rock into a high-energy, tightly arranged sound that has drawn comparisons to Van der Graaf Generator.
