Phonemic Distortion is the practice of using words whose phonemes, when used together, mean something entirely different to the original sentence. The original sentence often means nothing at all. This is why it is particularly useful in ciphers and other tools of espionage.
For example:
* Wheat hook thud oh gout fora war con a feel d'ya sturdy.
To help you decipher this message, here it is repeated with underscores denoting where the words are split in the deciphered text:
* Whea_t hook_ thu_d oh g_out_ for_a_ war c_on_ a_ feel d_'ya sturdy. (We took the dog out for a walk on a field yesterday.)
When read aloud, these sentences are clearly distinguishable. For this reason, this method is to be used in conjunction with other coding methods. When coupled with just a simple character offset algorithm as in the following example, the meaning is very difficult to ascertain.

D.A.D.O. is a fictional organization in The Pendragon Adventure series by D. J. MacHale. It is an abbreviation for Dimond Alpha Digital Organization. It started when character Mark Dimond created forge, a shapeshifting technology. From forge, large cyborgs known as DADOs were created. These dados inhabit Quillan and are annoyances to Bobby in book seven, The Quillan Games. D.A.D.O.'s technology has affected Second Earth, leading Pendragon to believe that First Earth might have been affected as well. Many rumors have spread that it is possible that D.A.D.O. was responsible for creating Lifelight, the technology that brings Veelox to its doom.
In The Pilgrims of Rayne, DADO cyborgs later were manipulated by Saint Dane to invade Ibara, and nearly succeeded if it had not been for Bobby.
The Dimond in DADO stands for the last name of Mark Dimond. Seeing as Mark left Second Earth with Saint Dane and the Forge technology, it is likely that he brought it to First Earth and has thus changed both Second and Third Earth. When characters Mark and Courtney try to prevent the creation of DADOs, they find that their creation has become inevitable, since the events were already in motion. This causes a lot of stress for Mark and Courtney, but mostly Mark, who blames himself for aiding Saint Dane in destroying Halla.

The New Japanese Release of Zoids is the fourth incarnation of Zoids in Asia. The series was re-launched by Tomy in 1999 mainly in Japan, with subsequent release elsewhere in Asia. Initially, the line consisted of recoloured re-releases of older Zoids, but TOMY quickly began producing new Zoids designs. The Zoids were divided into Helic and Guylos factions, with the Zenebas Empire returning later. The OJR battle story was continued on the NJR boxes, with the Zoids Anime and Manga drawing on alternate versions of the New Battle Story's events. The line was abruptly halted in mid 2004. By the end of the line, there were still thirty-three Zoids from the OJR that were yet to be re-released.
The New Japanese Release is commonly abbreviated by fans as NJR.

Customizable Parts
Along with the re-launch of the Zoids line, TOMY also launched a sub-line known as Customise Parts or simply CP. The line consisted of additional weapons and equipment that could be added onto Zoids models. The line was a mixture of new parts and re-issues of parts originally included in various OJR models.
Cyber-Drive
TOMY introduced a second sub-line in 2002, known as Cyber-Drive Zoids. This line was centred around partially pre-built Zoids that were remote controlled. Additionally, the Zoids could be operated via an infrared adapter attached to a Game Boy Advance unit.
The line was rather unsuccessful, mainly due to the high price per unit and the pre-built nature of the models. Only three Zoids were released, one of which was a recolour bundled with the Cyber-Drive video game.
