Bandwagon Music is a British Independent music publishing co-operative started by Jules Levy and Hannah Stevens in their home town of St Albans. Bandwagon publishes and releases Electronica, Alternative Indie, World Fusion, Folk Music (both Indie and Classic). Bandwagon Music first gained recognition in 2000 as Bandwagon Records when they joined AIM (Association of Independent Music) in its founding year. In 2003 they parted ways with AIM after challenging the board regarding members ethical stance in regards to blanket licencing. Talks with Beggars Banquet Records and Gut Records broke down soon afterwards.
Bandwagon Music is notable for being the first and only music publishing co-operative. Assigning shares to a composer in return for the publishing rights held in their compositions.
Bandwagon is also pioneering a brand new model for 21st century by having a dual function.
Acting both as a generic label, allowing its artists to be free from recording contracts
and that of the composers publisher.
In 2009 Bandwagon Music began to explore new possibilities as a Music supervisor.
They are currently working with Independent production companies.
Bandwagon Music is ETHICAL (equality; scrutiny where licencing is concerned)
& GREEN (mainly digital downloads; physical releases are limited using recycled
hemp paper in the production of the inlays).
They are now based in Devon, United Kingdom.

Hope Elizabeth May is the wife of Jeffrey Wigand , who is the subject of the academy award nominated . Wigand gained international acclaim for agreeing to serve as a key witness in a lawsuit between 46 state attorneys general and the 4 largest tobacco companies in the U.S.. The suit resulted in the historical settlement known as the Tobacco Master Settlement Agreement or simply "Master Settlement Agreement." tells, in part, the story of this agreement as well as the failure of CBS to air Wigand's interview with on 60 Minutes because CBS was threatened with a lawsuit for Tortious interference by Brown and Williamson.
Wigand and May met when he visited Central Michigan University in 2001 . They subsequently began working together and married in 2008.
May is an American philosopher and author who teaches at Central Michigan University where she directs its Center for Professional and Personal Ethics. She is also a licensed attorney and a member of the Michigan bar. She grew up in South Orange, New Jersey and attended Columbia High School in Maplewood, New Jersey which offered a number of philosophy classes at the time, as well as an experimental cohort program which included classes taught by several of the faculty at Columbia who had doctoral degrees. Epistemology was offered under this cohort program of which May was a part. The program also allowed its participants to meet and dine with notable scholars and alumni such as Robert Sternberg. As she retrieved her books from under the table after a luncheon with Sternberg, he noticed that she had a copy of the works of Friedrich Nietzsche. He commented "ah, pulling Nietzsche out from under the table, very significant." May credits her decision to pursue philosophy as a career to her high school's philosophy offerings and to her reading of the book Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert M. Pirsig, which was assigned in her "Literature and Philosophy" class.
As an undergraduate, May studied with Daniel Kolak, a prolific Croatian philosopher who currently teaches at William Paterson College. As a graduate student at Michigan State University, she studied with Nicholas D. Smith, a prolific scholar best known for his work on the Socrates of Plato's early dialogues. Smith is currently the James F. Miller Professor of Humanities at Lewis and Clark College.
May's recent work focuses on integrating the moral philosophy of Aristotle with a theory of motivation known as self determination theory in a way that is consistent with classical liberalism's emphasis on individual autonomy. She is the founder of The Center for Self Concordance , a non-profit entity which promotes the cultivation of self-concordance through pro-bono legal work, and through the creation of public and private ecologies which allow for the growth and sustenance of self-concordance.

Banshee is a PHP5 web application framework which aims at being secure, fast and easy to use. It is being developed by Hugo Leisink, the author of the Hiawatha webserver.
History
The first release of Banshee was on October the 4th 2008. In was based on an existing but unknown framework called Skeleton, but used XSLT as a view instead of printing HTML in the PHP code. The developer has give security a high priority while developing Banshee. On August the 30th 2009, version 1.0 was released. Although version 1.0 was a fully functional framework, the developer continued improving the framework.
Features
* Strong security.
* Database drivers for several database applications with all the same interface. So, switching from the default database (MySQL) to another database is very easy.
* MVC architecture (using XSLT for the view).
* User authentication.
* A simple but fully functional CMS is included.
* Multiple layouts controlled from within PHP code.
* Ready-to-use modules like a forum, F.A.Q. page, weblog, poll, guestbook and more save web developers a lot of work when creating a new website.
* Easy to use libraries for e-mail, pagination, HTTP requests, database management, polls, POP3, newsletters, images, cryptography and more.
Security
The main focus of the framework is to be secure. Several techniques have been used to prevent SQL injection, Cross-site scripting and Cross-site request forgery. The framework also takes care of authenticating users.
Since version 1.7, a security auditing script is included to verify that changed made to the framework have not introduced a security bug.
An earlier version of Banshee has been audited by a Dutch IT security company. No issues were found.
Documentation
At the moment the project lacks proper documentation, but the developer is working hard to make that right.
