Complykaro is a compliance service provider formed to assist companies and organisations to implement and execute the provisions of The .
Compliance means that organisations have a no tolerance policy towards sexual harassment at their workplace, an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) to handle complaints, regular training programmes, and a redressal system in place. A registered company is also supposed to file its policy and progress as part of its annual reports to the Registrar of Companies. By complying with the law, management of organisations can shield themselves from legal consequences and ensure prompt remedial action is taken against the accused.
A study conducted by Complykaro showed that only 3% of the organisations surveyed cared about women’s safety in the workplace. Mr. Vishal Kedia, Founder and Director of Complykaro, said, "Our belief is that more than 99.5% SMEs are not aware that they need to comply with the law, irrespective of number of employees and whether they have women employees or not."
