In Mumbai he worked with Prakash Jha and assisted him on 2 projects, Mrityudand and Rahul. In film Rahul he was the second assistant director, the film featured Yash Pathak, Tanvi Hegde, Neha, Jatin Garewal , Rajeshwari Sachdev and Gulshan Grover in lead roles.
