Inside-Out Boy is a claymation short on Nickelodeon that was created by Scott Webb. The story is about a boy who swung over the bar of a swing set by a fateful accident and his body turned inside out, transforming himself into a superhero who had a talent of grossing out adults (and making them scream and jump into the air in the process). He has to deal with kids who make fun of him. The short consists only five episodes. It later made a rerun on Noggin in 1999-2001 and made a rerun again as the part of the the programing block called The 90's Are All That on TeenNick and Nicktoons Network in 2011.
Opening
The opening intro for Inside-Out Boy always starts with a boy playing a yo-yo, then he puts it away. He looks at the swing set and then he tries to swing as high as he could, until he swings over the bar in 360 degrees that made his body turned inside out by an accident. Then as his inside out self, his heart beats all the way to reveal the title logo. The first episode version of this intro is altered where Inside-Out Boy says that where his pants are.
Characters
The only main character in the short is the unnamed boy (only seen in the opening intro and rarely at the end) and his alter-ego, Inside-Out Boy. In his normal form's physical appearance, he has his blonde hair and wears a red baseball cap. He wears a yellow tee-shirt, black pants and some white shoes with grey socks. He usually has a nose and a wide mouth. In his inside-out form's physical appearance, he is different compare to his original form, with his clothes embedded in his flesh-colored skin, white skeleton body of bones, various tissues, organs and organ systems such as lungs, stomach, gallbladder, and a heart, which often beats. His head is little bit small with a bit of blonde hair on the top, he has no nose and his mouth is small. Each form wears a pair of black glasses.
