The following year, Kramer's four-minute animation titled Singing Ding A Lings was shown at the 1992 Festival of Animation, to mixed reviews. It featured a dog and a chipmunk or squirrel sitting on a park bench, and was described as "an utterly absurd, madcap depiction"; a "wisecracking homage to Loony Tunes"; and "tedious and jerkily drawn".
Kramer won an internship, and then a job, with a Burbank animation company, in which he painted for the Garfield and Friends cartoon series.
