Westshore Town Centre (formerly known as Canwest Mall) is a 335,000 square foot<ref name="bentallkennedy1"/> shopping centre in Langford, British Columbia, near Victoria. The centre is bounded on the west by Jacklin Road, Langford Parkway (formerly Attree Avenue) to the north, Brittany Drive to the east, and Kelly Road to the south. Brittany Drive becomes Phipps Road just north of the centre, and then changes names again to Peatt Road a few blocks further north.
The centre has over 55 stores and services including Winners, Shoppers Drug Mart, Dollarama, Starbucks, a Fairway Market grocery store, a seven-screen Cineplex Odeon theatre and a BC Liquor Store. There is also a bus terminal for the Victoria Regional Transit System. The administration office is at 2945 Jacklin Road, which is also the address of the anchor stores and many of the other stores.

Nathaniel "Nate" Thomas (native of Warren, Ohio) is an American film director/producer and tenured university film professor at California State University, Northridge where he heads the film production program. He is best known for directing and producing the multiple award-winning feature film East of Hope Street which had a limited release in theaters in November 1999. Thomas, who was nominated for a 2000 Imagen Award for the film, is also a television commercial and public service ad director/producer. He produces many of them with close friend/business associate Tim Russ, who played Lieutenant Commander Tuvok on the Star Trek: Voyager television series. In 2010 Thomas received a commendation from FBI Director Robert Mueller for creating "Family Dinner", a 30 second television public service ad on cyber predators. In 2013 the FBI's Los Angeles Field Office released a series of television and radio public service ads, directed/produced by Thomas, highlighting the devastating effects of intellectual property theft and cyber bullying. The television version of these ads garnered him an Emmy Award nomination in 2014. Thomas received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the prestigious USC School of Cinematic Arts. He has worked with, among others, Bill Cosby, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Robert Townsend, and Sinbad.

Movement improvisation, classical music and public space performances constitute her main interests. Her most representative work consists in solo and duo performances as well as big group choreography and movement actions. She is especially interested in slow movement.
She graduated from the State School of Dance in Athens and has been a student of Robert Ellis Dunn in New York. She has been presenting work since 1984. She has collaborated with Steve Paxton, Sara Rudner, Vyacheslav Ganelin, Cecil Taylor, Domna Samiou, Artemis Alcalay, Eleni Manolopoulou, Peter Kowald, Psarantonis, Ilias Papadopoulos, Eleftheria Deko and many Greek dance artists.
In 1996 she created Sxedia Dance Company which she directed till 2004 and collaborated with Danza Contemporanea de Cuba. She is currently presenting her work in Microscopico Theatro in Athens.
