Advent Film Group (AFG) is a film production and distribution company founded in 2007 by George Escobar. Christian News wire explains, "Advent is gaining a reputation for producing movies that protects a student's Christian walk, promotes a Biblical worldview, and provides a professional path for students." Being a new company, AFG is currently reviewing offers of distribution, investments, and is presenting AFG's unique film perspective to businesses and groups, most recently to Christians at AOL's headquarters in VA. In the next three years, AFG plans to produce five films touching on themes with a biblical worldview important to family audiences. Participants will eventually direct future films on the AFG production slate.
Mission
Advent Film Group's mission is to "train a new generation of highly qualified filmmakers who are soundly Christian. This is not a film school or a film workshop.
