HISTORY OF THE SHOW

Before “Live with Mitch and Paige” it was the show “3-Minute Rant” a local rant and/ or rave show. In mid 2007 Paige Fawcett was promoted to the desk and that’s when producers started to come up with a new theme of the show. In August of 2007, producers got it, a new theme a show for teens in the community, they called the new show “Live with Mitch and Paige”. Since August, 2007 producers got to work, with new graphics, a new set and a new intro. At the end of August Live with Mitch and Paige was on the air with a sneak preview for the next week (August 27th) to kick off the season premiere! In October of 2007, Live with Mitch and Paige wanted to expand because it’s only on for 30 minutes (7:30-8:00 PM) so we put our Special Projects manger to work and they got a new show already planned. “Mornings with Mitch and Paige”. “Mornings with Mitch and Paige” kicked off in November, 2007 at 11 AM. The show is still LIVE in the GRTV-Studios. It has different segments “Weekend Movies” and “Weekend Adventures”. “Mornings with Mitch and Paige” is still a 30 minute show.

SEGMENTS

“Live with Mitch and Paige” has several different segments “Paige’s Book Review”, “Hot Technology”, “Daily Blog”, “Grand Rapids Spotlight”, “Small Cents, Make Cents”, “Weekend Movies” and “Weekend Adventures”.

CREW

Live with Mitch and Paige is a big show with guests each week. With a big show that means we need a big crew. Live with Mitch and Paige has about 15 crew members to help set up the show and help put it on.

LIVEWITHMITCHANDPAIGE.COM

Live with Mitch and Paige expanded even more in September of 2007. We kicked off our new web-site www.livewithmitchandpaige.com. It helps teens find out what's coming up in the next shows and more.
