Zoya Khan
Zoya Khan (born Sana Khan; 17 April), is an Indian Actress, Model and Host by profession. She belongs to a Muslim pathan family in New Delhi. From Delhi she moved to Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh to do her schooling. She eventually moved back to Delhi to complete her Master’s in Business Administration in Finance.
Zoya Khan started her career in 2008 as a model. She has walked the ramp and done numerous commercials, mostly for the print media. She also attended theater workshops to polish her acting skills. She gained wide attention in a Delhi beauty pageant and was crowned Miss Beautiful Skin 2008. She was also placed among the Top 5 best contestants. Zoya aka Sana Khan has hosted several corporate events, conferences, musical nights, entertainment shows, talent hunt shows, awards and championships. In the year 2009 she migrated to Mumbai to pursue her career in acting.
Early life
Zoya Khan was born to Muslim parents of Pashtun ancestry in New Delhi, India. Her father, L.U.Khan, is a lawyer from Madhya Pradesh, India. Her parental grandfather and grandmother was originally from Afghanistan. Her mother, Nasreen Khan has served as a mathematics teacher in a renowned Delhi school for 12 years. Zoya did her schooling from Carmel Convent Sr.Sec.School, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, since her family migrated to Bhopal when she was 7. Eventually she moved back and did her graduation from Delhi University and her Master’s in business administration in finance from ICFAI, Hyderabad, in a distant learning course. Ever since she was a child she showed a streak to excel in sports and extra-curricular activities. She was a inert-school basketball and badminton player during her school and college days. She was also actively involved in college dramatics society. Her Modeling and Acting career has the full support of her family.
Modeling career
Zoya Khan started her Modeling career in 2008. She did her first Print assignment for FANTA which was the three days campaign shot in Delhi. She did several print and commercial ads for IDEA hoardings, Axis Bank-Mutual funds, Blackberry Phones, Cantabile, Airtel, Satya Paul Sarees, like Avon Cycles & E-scooty bikes for girls, Zaveri Jewelers, Femina, Woman’s Era and many more. She tremendously grabbed attention with her Delhi Government and Metro campaign Hoardings across Delhi. She has walked the ramp for many brands like Warner Brothers, Levis, Kazo, Nike, L'oreal, Spykar Jeans, Reebok, Nestle and for many designers.
Events and other work
Zoya Khan has been hosting events and shows since her school days. She has hosted events like Child Fund India Charity Show, LIONS CLUB CHARITY SHOW for children suffering from Thelesimia disease in Gujarat, Continental Warehousing Corporation Shipping award Corporate Show, Jagjit Singh- Live Concert, Ghulaam Ali nite, Talent Hunt show Lucknow 2011, Mahindra & Mahindra Xylo car Launch and many more. She has hosted more than 75 shows since 2009.
Acting career
Zoya Khan made her debut on the small screen in an Ekta Kapoor Television Serial named Bairi Pia from Balaji Telefilms. Her documentary for an NGO in Maharashtra on the life of farmers committing [...] under the burden of huge debts earned wide recognition. She also featured in music albums across India in Hindi and Punjabi language. She was featured as a solo female Lead in the Hindi music album sung by singer Mamta Sharma, Kumar Sanu & Kunal Ganjawala. She was recently seen in a beautiful duet song “Teri meri Jodi” in Aman Hayer's brand new music album "The Entourage".

Zoya Khan is making her Bollywood Debut as lead actress in Chori Ka Maal Mori Mein which is expected to release in 2013.
