Zed are a metal band from Bristol, UK.

History

Formed in 2005 and hailing from the Bristol area, ZED is a band that lives somewhere on the border between hard rock and punk rock n' roll, an outfit with influences and loves such as Thin Lizzy, Mötley Crüe, The Ramones, Judas Priest, Motörhead and Iron Maiden to name just a few.

Evolving out from the darkest, smallest practice rooms that Bristol's studios had to offer, Zed began to learn their trade starting with a collection of classic rock covers. As time went on the band continued to improve and began the long march of writing original material and developing their sound, finally evolving into a metal machine of solid drum beats, thundering bass lines, twin guitar attacks with standout solos, all this topped up with the powerful vocals and stage presence of their band leader, the formidable Colonel.
