Aims and objectives
The main aim of the Young Belarus movement for the period 2008-2011 is to organize and to conduct positive and negative campaigns for mobilization. The negative campaign is called “Get Yourself Off!” and its main aim is mass distribution of negative information about Lukashenko:
To form in Belarusian consciousness of the negative image of Belarus headed by Lukashenko;
To persuade the Belarusian nation that Lukashenko is afraid of free and transparent elections;
To persuade our society to vote against Lukashenko, even if a citizen doesn’t support all candidates. It’s better to vote against than for Lukashenko.;
To stimulate our society to protest on the X date – on the day of the presidential elections (2010-2011).
Along with the negative campaign the positive one will be carried on by the Young Belarus. The main goal of this campaign is the formation in Belarusian consciousness of our positive image and the formation of understanding that the Belarusian nation will have a dignified life just in the European family. Of course, the main goal we want to achieve is the landslide of our democratic candidate in 2011.
