York Region Transit operates bus terminals out of the following locations:

Routes

  • 1--Highway 7 (former Markham Transit North Trunk Route # 1),
  • 2--Milliken (former Markham Transit South Trunk Route # 2),
  • 2A-14th Avenue (former Markham Transit Route 2A),
  • 3 / 3B--Thornhill-York University (Former Markham Transit Thornhill Local Route # 3, and Vaughan Transit Route # 8 New Westminster),
  • 4--Major Mackenzie (former Vaughan Transit Route 4, and Richmond Hill Route 7),
  • 5--Clark (former Vaughan Transit Route 5 Clark Avenue),
  • 6--former Vaughan Transit Route 6, replaced by TTC 37D Islington peak hour routing in 2002.
  • 7--Martin Grove (former Vaughan Transit Route 7),
  • 8--Kennedy (former Markham transit Route 8),
  • 9--9th Line (formerly Stouffville) Routing started September 2004. (Former Markham Transit Route 9 Markham Road replaced by TTC Markham Road 102Din 2002). Split into two branches later on: 9--Stouffville via Main Street Providing local service in Stouffville (replaced with Route 15 in 2007), and 9A--Stouffville via 9th Line. In 2007, the route was restructured again, with the former Route 9 becoming Route 15 (see Route 15 entry below), and Route 9A becoming Route 9--9th Line.
  • 10--York U-Woodbridge (former Vaughan Transit Route 10),
  • 11--Woodbridge (former Vaughan Transit Route 1),
  • 12--Pine Valley (former Vaughan Transit Route 2),
  • 13--Islington (former Vaughan Transit Route 3-Kleinberg),
  • 15--Stouffville Local New route introduced in 2007 that provides local service in Stouffville. Replaced former Route 9--Stouffville via Main Street routing.
  • 18--Bur-Oak new routing in Markham, (number used by Vaughan Transit's Route 8 until replaced by Route 3 in May 2002).
  • 20--Jane-Concord 2004 Routing in Vaughan, added upon opening of Vaughan Mills Mall.
  • 22--King Started September 2005. Serving Maple, King City, Oak Ridges, and Seneca College King Campus.
  • 23--Thornhill Woods Started September 2005.
  • 27--Highway 27 (former Vaughan Transit Route 27) serving industrial complex near former Highways 7 and 27),
  • 31--Aurora North, (former Aurora Transit, Newmarket Transit since 1998 Aurora North),
  • 32--Aurora South, (former Aurora Transit, Newmarket Transit since 1998 Aurora South),
  • 33--Wellington Formerly Newmarket Transit Route 33 Bayview-Leslie, replaced by 54, 55b, 57, and 58. Current Wellington Street route added in 2006.
  • 34--Industrial Parkway, routing started in September 2004, replacing part of former Newmarket Transit Route 53.
  • 40--Unionville Local, (former Markham Transit Routes 4 + 5, that also served Markham on present route 41 (below),
  • 41--Markham Local, 2004 split of Route 40, east of McCowan Road.
  • 44--Bristol-London, (former Newmarket Transit Route 44 Bristol-London),
  • 50--Queensway, Georgina/Keswick "local" route servicing on the Queensway (Leslie Street north of its border with East Gwillimbury) which started in September 2002.
  • 51--Keswick Local, a community route that originally serviced Keswick with a route forming a "box", which started in September 2002.
  • 52--Holland Landing East Gwillimbury/Holland Landing, Ontario service on Yonge Street started in September 2002.
  • 53, service replaced in September 2004.
  • 54--Bayview North,
  • 55--Davis Drive, former Newmarket Transit Route 55/55A
  • 55b--Davis Drive B,
  • 56--Gorham-Eagle, former Newmarket Transit Route 55B

  • 84a/c--Oak Ridges, (former Richmond Hill Transit Route 4 a/c){a=anti-clockwise, c=clockwise},

  • 98--North Yonge Started in September 2005, running on Yonge Street from Bernard loop in Richmond Hill to Newmarket.
  • 99--Yonge "C", former GO Transit Yonge "C" route, once TTC North Yonge 59.

  • 520 Newmarket Community Route, forming a clockwise route around Newmarket stopping at prominent locations around the community. Has the same route as Route 521.
  • 521 Newmarket Community Route, forming a counter-wise route around Newmarket stopping at prominent locations around the community. Shares route with Route 520.

Connections

YRT connects to multiple services, including the Business Express; 407 ETR Express (Unionville, Markham and Cornell Express), Maple Express (to/from Yorkdale) Richmond Hill (Mill Pond, Beverley Acres, North Richvale, and Redstone), Newmarket, Vaughan (Rutherford), Unionville and Markham GO Shuttles; and Richmond Hill and Newmarket Community Buses.
