Y Twwr

Y Twwr are a popular Welsh language band that appeared on the Welsh music scene in early 2004. Fronted by Ioan Pollard the band's popularity grew amongst the underground Welsh music scene. Playing controversial music, many fans found the lyrics to be accurate when compared to the political climate in Wales and England at the time. The band officially began in late 2003 when Ioan Pollard and Hubert Jones began to play in Ioan's home in North Wales. At this time the band recruited the rest of the band.

In late 2005 Howard Jones left the band due to personal differences with Ioan, because of this many fans believed that the band was never the same as Howard was one of the key members. The band's popularity dwindled in early 2006 causing Ioan to bring the project to an end. As of late 2006 the band have removed much of their information from the media, because of this demo's that were recorded for their debut EP are extremely rare and are collectibles in the Welsh Music Scene.
