Xi Chi Sigma
Xi Chi Sigma (ΞХΣ, also known as XCS) is an Asian-interest fraternity founded in Stockton, California. Xi Chi Sigma is dedicated to serving the local community of Stockton and its student community of the University of the Pacific. It was founded to represent the Asian American students of the campus and is open to anyone (regardless of race) willing to learn the different cultures and traditions that make up the Asian group. The fraternity is an active member of the university's Multicultural Greek Council.
History
Xi Chi Sigma started on February 1, 2003 by 10 individuals who wanted to have an Asian presence at their school. However, on their never-ending search for an Asian fraternity that held to standards of respect, loyalty, and honor, these 10 men agreed to form Xi Chi Sigma. It is the vision of these men to have a fraternity that fosters a lifetime of brotherhood, to establish traditions built of pride and honor, and to increase Asian awareness at our institution and the community of Stockton. The 10 founders of Xi Chi Sigma are Ryan Himeda, Romel Castro, Mark Cajimat, Joseph Aville, Jimmy Wang, Eric Ching, Kyle Hing, Stephen Chhit, Benjamin Yuh, and Rex Nicolas.
