Wurmser Aids Ltd is an independent television graphics company, which has been working in the television graphics industry for over fifty years. The company has a wealth of experience working and specialising in live sporting events, ranging from motoring programs such as the Formula One (F1), MotoGP, British Superbikes, World Rally to cycling programs such as the Tour de France and Fort William Mountain Biking to name just a few.
A great number of these events are brought to the company time and time again through its strong relationships with the major broadcasters since the early 1940’s with the likes of the BBC, SKY, ITV, Channel 4, Five and more recently Setanta.
Wurmser provide design services, design consultancy, software development, graphics equipment and operators at Outside Broadcasts, Studios or at their facilities in Park Royal, London.
Wurmser have one of the largest character generator supplies of Vizrt, Aston Red, Ethos and Motifs in the UK and are highly recognised for this within the competitive realm of live broadcast television graphics. Not only does the company have a strong force of character generators but they also have invested a large amount of money in the Leitch Quattrus editing systems, which they helped push into the graphics and broadcasting community.

As a specialist graphics company, Wurmser are able to provide a range of services to enhance the on-air presentation of television programs with such tools as the Leitch Quattrus design work stations, which make it possible to design and composite opening titles and things such as stings in a very cost effective and powerful way of working within a very short timescale. This has successfully been accomplished on high profile events such as Athens Olympics, The Grand National and Six Nations Rugby and more so in recent times with Setanta Sports football coverage alongside an EVS System enabling the real time handling of up to six video and audio channels.
Wurmser works alongside specialist companies such as MST to enable the company to integrate live statistics such as timing and say GPS positioning in the presentation of the graphics Wurmser produces. Thus ensuring operator productivity is at its highest, which is made possible via databases and interfaces developed by Wurmser to communicate with the Vizrt and Aston systems that package the graphics to be displayed on our television screens.
