WorldTicket

Worldticket is an international developer and supplier of web-based sales and reservation systems to small and mid sized airlines all over the world.

WorldTicket’s solution is called Sell-More-Seats® and is a web-based sales and reservation system developed particularly for the needs of the small and mid sized airlines. WorldTicket has emphasised developing a solution with a very high level of flexibility and Sell-More-Seats® is designed to help the airlines reach more customers, get better control of the sales channels, increase sales and help the business grow.

In 2008 WorldTicket launched a new generation of their solution which is 100% e-ticket compatible and follows all industry standards. Therefore Sell-More-Seats® is now both ticket-less and e-ticket compatible and can be integrated with the GDS’s. Furthermore WorldTicket has valued developing a higher level of usability and making the solution even more intuitive and user-friendly. However the high level of flexibility has been maintained in this new generation of Sell-More-Seats®.

WorldTicket is a member of several important industry organisations that are influential on the new developments in the industry. WorldTicket is a member ERA (European Airline Association), Open Travel Alliance (OTA) and APG. Furthermore WorldTicket has also entered industry partnerships during the last couple of years, and are now IATA Strategic Partner and Amadeus Partner.

Every year WorldTicket participates and exhibits at several important industry events, such as the ERA General Assembly, ERA Regional Airline Conference and ITB Berlin. Furthermore the company also hosts its own annual customer conference.

Company Background

WorldTicket was founded in 1989 as a software development company. In 2002 WorldTicket A/S was formally incorporated as a sales and distribution company. The IATA Airline Designator Code is W1.

WorldTicket is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark for customer contact and support. Furthermore additional development and online support offices are located in Beijing and Kiev.

The company mission is to become the leading service provider of internet based sales and reservation systems for small and medium sized airlines in diffferent parts of the world.

The company has continued to grow through the years and currently has more than 25 customers in more than 10 different countries, such as Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Poland and Romania. Europe is the home market, but WorldTicket also has customers in Africa and Central America.
