Woofy FM
Woofy FM is a British fiction toy radio show programme produced by children. The programme shows a toy dog named Woofy. He has his own radio show with his other friends, Fluff, Plum, Rose and Teddy. Woofy FM also airs Sunday Special Woofy FM’s which include toys like Flatley, Porky, Barky, and Percival.
This programme has lately started airing Woofy FM TV which has become a phenomenon throughout Woofy FM fans. Woofy FM TV is aired in the home of the two creators of the show. Dominic Armitage and Rosie Armitage. They usually film with a web-cam in front of their back garden where we can usually see butterflies and rabbits. The public has named this as one of the best radio shows in the world and the show has won a BAFTA Award for Best Toy Radio show in 2009. Woofy FM also kick started the show Who stole the CD’s?, The Teddy Show, Plum and Rose’s fashion adventure and Smiley Time. The programme started it’s own website in January 2009. Http://www.woofyfm.spaces.live.com. The second series of the show started on the 13th April 2009 after having a break for the Easter that year. Woofy FM is currently planning a live showing, Woofy FM LIVE and also planning a film which is currently going under the name of The Woofy Film. If this wasn’t good enough. On the 16th March 2009 Woofy FM TV was asked to air on TV channels such as CBBC, ITV2, Jetix and BBC2. Teddy, One of the actors/producers of the show has recently become a Lord.
The Shows lead character, Woofy, has recently been named ‘the only dog without a brain’ and will be receiving a certificate for that achievement. Also, Smiley, One of the producers on the show along with Chu-Chu another producer have been given a gold statue of a dog for making such a brilliant radio show. Woofy FM has just recruited a new member to the Woofy FM Crew. His name is Melman, Famous for his roles in Madagascar, Madagascar 2 and his funny face when he opens his mouth. Woofy FM is having some technical difficulties and experts believe this is down to Woofy FM TV being bad. Although on the Woofy FM website you can see the entire of series one written down going as far back as January and you can also see some of series 2 written down but most on TV. Woofy FM has recently been seen having talks about only making the show a weekend show so it shall only be shown on Saturdays and Sundays, which will be broadcasted as a Sunday Special. But this has not been confirmed as yet. This meeting has worried fans greatly as they have much enjoyed it as a every-day show.
The show’s newsreader, Dr Professor F.W (Fluffy Wuffy) Fluffles III has been interviewed and he has said that Woofy FM shall continue but maybe not as you know it and maybe there will be some surprise guests in some of the specials.
On the 21st July 2010, Woofy FM TV will be aired on BBC2 and CBBC after turning down offers from ITV2 and Jetix. Woofy FM is a worldwide favourite after winning awards after awards after awards in the Toy Radio show awards. Plum, another one of Woofy FM’s treasured cast list has been interviewed and revealed that names like David Tennant and Brad Pitt will come onto the show, Plum apologised afterwards for spreading top-secret news. Woofy Fm TV adverts will be seen on BBC1,2 and 3 and CBBC starting from 1 May 2009 and that, as says producer Dom Armitage will be the revolution of Woofy FM.
