Woodlands Foundation
The Woodlands Foundation is a campground for children and adults with mental and physical disabilities. The campground is located in Wexford, Pennsylvania. The campground is run by the Spina Bifida Association of Western Pennsylvania. The Spina Bifida Association of Western Pennsylvania was founded in 1969 by a parent support group.
Activities
The Woodlands Foundation runs camps throughout the summer such as a sports camp, Music camp, and several others. They also run weekend retreats throughout the school year for different age groups, an after school program for children with disabilities, and provide programs for young adults such as vocational training, diagnostic services, and other ongoing support. The campground has an indoor swimming pool, adaptable golf course, and an accessible nature trail.
