Snowboard: Superpipe
After a turbulent superpipe season, the Toyota Championships were ready for a new group of athletes to prove themselves. Without a top two finish, last year's runner up Steve Fisher fell out of his top spot in Mount Snow, overtaken by JJ Thomas for the coveted Dew Cup. On the women's side, Kaitlyn Farrington stole the show- and The Title of Champion- with her win during the night final in Vermont.

Snowboard: Slopestyle
This year, the snowboard slopestyle competition was in the hands of youth, as sixteen-year-old friends Tyler Flanagan and Sage Kotsenburg battled it out on the men's side, and nineteen-year old Jamie Anderson came out of her tie with Spencer O'Brien, freshly twenty-one at the last stop, as the Champion. The men went into the final with first-place Flanagan barely ahead of Kotsenburg, but devastating falls took Flanagan out of the top three in the Toyota Championship, giving Kotsenburg the points he needed to win the Dew Cup.

Freeski: Superpipe
Entering the final stop with a nice cushion, Jossi Wells only needed a Top Five placing in the Mount Snow final to win the Dew Cup. After falling on his first run and facing tight competition from Simon Dumont and Tucker Perkins, Wells had to make a call between going big- and risking it all- or going safe and hoping to place within top five. Leaving the bag of tricks at the top of the pipe and relying on his style and amplitude, Wells was able to win the Dew Cup with the bare minimum- fifth place.

Freeski: Slopestyle
With the tightest race for the Dew Cup in the 2009-10 season, the stage was set for Mount Snow to be a showdown for the podium. With so many big names needing every point they could get due to ties for both first and third place , it was anyone's game. Tom Wallisch had to throw down with Rookie of the Year Andreas Hatveit for the top spot, with Sammy Carlson and Bobby Brown not far behind in third place. In the end, Brown overcame the challenging east coast weather to take the top spot in the Toyota Championship, and Hatveit's second place finish won him the overall Dew Cup.
