Willie Richardson (pastor)

Pastor Willie Richardson is the Founder and Pastor of Christian Stronghold Baptist Church, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pastor Richardson is a graduate of Philadelphia College of Bible. In addition, he has studied at Temple University and received a Doctorate of Divinity Degree from Geneva College. Pastor Richardson is a former Mechanical Design Engineer.

As one of the leaders in the city, Pastor Willie Richardson was one of the founding fathers of the Center for Urban Theological Studies1, and established the Center for Urban Resources and Resources for Better Families. On the national and international scene, Pastor Richardson is the Founder and President of Christian Research & Development2. This organization researches needs and methods as well as develops materials for family training and church ministry development.

Pastor Richardson is an author. He has written training materials which are used in the ministry of Christian Stronghold Baptist Church. His latest two national sellers are entitled RECLAIMING THE URBAN FAMILY (published by Zondervan) and SHARING CHRIST AS YOU GO (published by Christian Research & Development).

Pastor Richardson and his wife, Patricia, have been married for 40 years and are the parents of four children and six grandchildren.
