Wild Wade Chism
Wild Wade Chism made his debut in World League Wrestling in February 2001. Chism is a five time WLW Heavyweight Champion and a three time Tag-team Champion. Chism has had many feuds including: The Gold Exchange, Keith Walker, Trevor Rhodes, Dangerous Derek McQuinn and Kobashi. Chism has made tours of Japan.
Early Life
Wild Wade Chism was a standout in athletics all through high school and into college. He went on to play semi-pro baseball before entering the Harley Race Wrestling Academy.
World League Wrestling
Chism completed his wrestling training at the Harley Race's Wrestling Academy in early 2001. In one of his first matches he defeated a future WWE Superstar and Tag Team Champion, Trevor Murdoch.
Chism's first professional championship was a WLW Tag Team Championship. He and Murdoch won the titles March 8, 2002 in Lebanon, MO defeating The Gold Exchange. Later that year Chism won his first WLW Heavyweight Championship on June 29 becoming one of the fastest rising stars.
Chism didn't hold another belt until he and DAKOTA won the WLW Tag Team Championships on November 13 2004 in Kansas City. They held the belts for 175 days before losing them to Ace Steele and Superstar Steve. Chism then focused on singles action winning back the WLW Heavyweight Championship on July 23 2005 in the WLW's hometown of Eldon, MO and holdingh it for 189 days. After a match with Keith Walker the title was held up and vacated and Chism won a triple threat match in St. Joseph against Jason Bates and Walker on February 26 2006. His third reign only lasted one day as the next night he lost the belt to Bates. His forth reign started much as his third ended as both matches were in the same city against the same opponent (El Dorado Springs, MO and against Jason Bates).
Wade went on to have the feud of his career against Keith Walker. The two battled over the belt all over the state. Walker got the best of Chism on May 13 2006, winning the belt in St. Joseph, and ending Chism's fourth title reign. Chism challenged Walker over the next couple months for the belt. The two had a match that ended in a Double Count Out so WLW owner Harley Race made a lumberjack match for the two on July 8th in Eldon. On this night (the same night WWE Superstar Ted DiBiase made his professional debut) Chism won the belt back for a record fifth time. He was hoisted on the shoulders of several WLW Superstars in celebration.
Chism lost the title to an up-and-coming Daniel Cross 105 days later. This marked the last time Wade held the WLW Championship. Later that year he took a young Mike DiBiase under his wing and together the two won the WLW Tag Team Championships on Deceber 9, 2006. This marked the third time Chism was a Tag Team Champion and the last championship he has held to date. The team was stripped due to DiBiase being injured.
After Wrestling
Chism is retired from professional wrestling and is currently enjoying life.
