WhyteGold is a London based online private members community more commonly referred to as a social networking service, which functions on an invitation only basis. The network claims to have over 3,000 members, including descendants from aristocratic backgrounds, former heads of state, artists and musicians. The company is currently being lead by CEO Aryan Moghaddam.
Features
WhyteGold announced in March 2009 that it had a secure and selective sign up process for recruiting members to their social networking platform. The application process is monitored manually by administrators who verify new recruits based on the companies own criteria.
The site focuses on publishing luxury related content via news articles and videos.
Members
According to BusinessWeek magazine, the company selects its members based on traditional private networking standards, but with an international approach that is only made possible by the internet. According to Chief Executive Aryan Moghaddam, it is against company policy to reveal the identity of members who have subscribed to the network.
