Westport Woman's Club

The Westport Woman's Club is a volunteer non-profit organization that works to better the area communities around Westport, Connecticut. The Club offers many social and community service opportunities for its members, and annually donates monies to local agencies and projects.

The Yankee Doodle Fair is held each June as the Club's main fund-raiser. The Curio Cottage is a small thrift store run by the club, and is adjacent to the clubhouse.

The Club's headquarters are at 44 Imperial Avenue, in the 1881 Sidney Watts house, which was bought by the Club in 1948.

The Club was founded in 1907 as the Women's Town Improvement Association, when its first projects involved creating sidewalks, planting trees and improving the town's streets. Current activities include operating the Food Closet with non-perishable food for needy families and granting college scholarships.
