The '''Westchester Monarchs''' are a professional basketball team in the [[National Professional Basketball League (2007-)|National Professional Basketball League]] based in [[Purchase, New York]].
In their inaugural season, all games were played on the road due to the lack of a home venue. The team was also limited to thirteen practices due to court availablity and financial situations.
The Monarchs organization is owned and operated by the president of the NPBL, Ben Tisdale.
Currently, the Monarchs organization has not been paid for the 2008 season and are involved in a legal case against the president.
