Watchtime
WatchTime is a bi-monthly US-publication AbOUT mechanical watches. The magazine covers all aspects of wristwatches on- and offline: the history of watchmaking, extensive technical reviews and introductions of contemporary and vintage timepieces; InterViews and portraits of the watchmakers and companies that manufacture them, coverage from trade shows like Baselworld and SIHH, auction reports and articles about the people who collect, wear and sell them. Reviews usually include original photography, timing results, practical tests and disassembly. The magazine and its publishing company was founded in New York City in 1999 by the Ebner Publishing Group of Ulm, Germany. There are local editions in Mexico, Dubai, India and Turkey.
Over the years, WatchTime has organized several watch events around the US, most notably, shows like WatchTime New York with over 1,200 watch collectors attending in 2017.
WatchTime is distributed in North America (for example at Barnes & Noble and Hudson News), in South America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and India. Together they form a global group of watch publications. The latest licensee is in Turkey, a First Local issue is planned for 2018.
