The Washburn School, Community College and Institute were founded in Coto Laurel, Puerto Rico in 2003.
Washburn School fundamentally immerses students in an English-only environment, which propitiates the quick learning of the language.
As of July 2009, the school provides education for students from pre-kinder through 7th grade. In August 2009, the 7th grade will be added. The Community College provides vocational training, while the Washburn Institute provides a conversational English program.
Washburn School is certified by the State's accrediting entity, the Consejo General de Educacion de Puerto Rico.
