Viswa Vani Public School
Viswa Vani Public School (VVPS) is a moderately ranked school at Vijayawada - A south eastern city of India. It has been standing and growing over the past twenty five years.
Introduction
That was in early 1980s, Mr. Vayu Nandan Rao, an engineer by profession, had decided to go out and serve the society. He wanted to give something back to the society that has helped him to stand on his foot. Then he had embarked upon an educational institution (Viswa Vani Public School) that later stood as a temple for many budding citizens of tomorrow. At present, his students are spread around the world and have been concentrated primarily in English-dominant states like America, England, Australia and New Zealand.Work is worship is the motto of the school.
Silver-Jubilee
Twenty five years have passed. In the month of February 2006, Viswa Vani Public School(VVPS) had celebrated Silver Jubilee at siddhartha auditorim at Vijayawada. Alumnus from different parts of the world have come down to attend this celebration.
Proven talent at earlier age
It has many times flashed on front pages in newspapers for its students having secured several state ranks like State 11th by Mujje TejPraveen, State 7th rank by Kethan in Secondary Class State wise examinations.
Alumni Activities
In 2004, group of students from 1998 Xth pass out batch has launched "ViswaVani Alumni" and has been ACTIVE ever since. So far it has pooled AbOUT 50 people across several batches and still growing. It has plans to structure it and launch online (internet based) activities all over globe by mid 2007. Mr. Gopi Krishna Tummala is endeavoring this task.
