Vishvender Choudhary

Vishvender Choudhary (born 23 August 1992) also known as Vishvender Kadian is a student leader from Rohtak, Haryana. He is the incumbent Vice-President of the National Students Union of India Rohtak Unit. He has served as the President of the Youth Congress.

Kadian comes from a politically influential family. His father,Dr (Prof.) Kultaj Singh, has served as the spokesperson of the Congress Party.

Early life and Education

Kadian was born Vishvender Singh Kadian on 23 August 1992, in Rohtak, Haryana. His father Dr. Kultaj Singh (Prof. and Dean, Physical Education, Maharishi Dayanand University) is a senior Congress politician and has served on various important posts including spokesperson of the Congress Party. He spent his childhood living the campus of Maharishi Dayanand University in the accommodation allotted to his father. He has a younger brother Amarinder Kadian.

He attended Model School, Rohtak and went on to pursue a Diploma in Civil Engineering from MIT Polytechnic, Lakhan Majra, Rohtak. He is currently pursuing his graduation from University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak.

Political career

Being born in a politically ACTIVE family, Kadian's first got involved in politics when he was elected as the President of the National Students Union of India MIT Unit in 2010. He has since served as the president of the Rohtak Unit of Youth Congress.

Political and social views

Vishvender is considered to support liberal and innovative IDeaS when it comes to political views.

Personal life

He is the older son of Prof. Kultaj Singh and has been living in the campus of the Maharishi Dayanand University since his birth. His father currently is the Dean of the Physical Education Department in the university.
