Vishnu Institute of Technology (VIT), established in the year 2008, provides technical education located at Vishnupur, Bhimavaram, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, India. VIT is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTU-K) and has AICTE approval. It is one of the many educational Institutes of Sri Vishnu Educational Society. History
Padmabhushan Dr. BV Raju is the founder chairman of Dr. BV Raju Foundation. Dr. BV Raju is an earnest scholarly man, he best knew the value of Education and so he diverted his focus from industrial field to the vast field of education to set up a series of colleges under Dr. BV Raju Foundation and Sri Vishnu Educational Society. Two campuses have been established, one at Narasapur in Medak Dist in 1997, where an Engineering college has been set up under the name of Dr. BV Raju Institute of Technology, and the other campus at Bhimavaram town which includes, Smt. B Seetha Polytechnic College, Shri Vishnu College of Pharmacy, Padmabhushan Dr. B.V Raju Institute of Computer Education, Sri Vishnu Engineering College for Women, Vishnu Dental College and Vishnu Public School. Vishnu Institute of Technology is the latest addition to the Sri Vishnu Educational Society, established in 2008 at the Bhimavaram Campus.
Integrated Campus
The Pollution free campus is located in Vishnupur, 3 km from Bhimavaram, on Tadepalligudem Road. The campus, spread over 85 Acres of serene scenic landscape, is ideal for studies and is unique in this entire region.
Main features of the campus are accommodation for different colleges with fully equipped Laboratories, Lecture halls, Drawing and Seminar Halls apart from the common central facilities.
Common facilities include Sports & Games, Stadium, Auditorium, Temples, Green lawns and trees in the campus.
