Virunga Air Cargo
Virunga Air Cargo was a Zairian airline that existed from 1978 to 1988.
History
The airline was founded in 1982 under the name Vic Air Cargo by Victor Ngezayo, Ngezayo was a baron to Zairan president Mobuto Sese Seko.
The airline on January 1 1985 would soon be renamed to Virunga Air Cargo. The airline would then be renamed to Volcanair in July 1986 after it leased a DC 8, which operated at the time cargo flights from Zaire to Europe.
In 1988 the airline would cease operations.
Virunga Air Charter
There was another airline operating under the Virunga name which provided bush flights to towns in the DRC. The airline would however cease operations in 2009.

Accidents
The airline's sibling company called Virunga Air Charter suffered one accident
- Unknown date in 1996 an Antonov AN 32 crashed.
