It's Startup date of July 12th 1989 and a Interactive Launch date of 0ct 1990, Would seem to Justify this assertion.
Although details are Sketchy, It has been said that vbSlim Started this website to help other bikers that were just finding
the world wide web To get around and become familiar with the ins and outs of the web.
Early (90's)
In it's heyday, The virtual biker boasted At least seven interactive web pages, (unheard of at this time) As well as a perl scripted
Forum And many other pages. The most popular being the so called general board, Where hundreds of biker type folks hung out regularly.
It was also at this time that Slims Tech board was born.
During this time, Others finding there way onto the web scene drifted in the vb realm and caused major disruptions in the Regulars lives.
Thus Began the board wars, That continued up to the mid 90's
